Now running for more than two decades, the Poetry Performance World Cup brings together performers from right across the country, all stepping onto the stage with just eight minutes to leave their mark.
Across Saturday, the heats set the tone with a full field of performers, each bringing something completely different in style, tone, and subject matter. Sunday narrows the field through semi-finals before culminating in a final where eight poets compete for the title and the AUD $2,000 prize.
